Heavy Sky (2021)
Airbrush, acrylic and oil pastel on Hahnemuhle
60cm x 85cm
Heavy Sky reflects on the last two weeks in the artist's life. The work documents moments spent with family and thoughts from the artists day to day. Sketchbook observations and caricatures are layered over floating green diamonds and an airbrushed sky. All embodying a confounding sense of calm and joy felt while navigating this complex living.
